Sue Bratton, Ph.D., LPC-S, RPT-S is Professor at the University of North Texas and Director of the UNT Center for Play Therapy with over 25 years of experience as a practitioner and researcher. Sue is nationally and internationally known speaker and author with over 80 publications and 300 professional presentations in the areas of child and family counselling. She is co-author of Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), the CPRT Treatment Manual, and CPRT in Action, a demonstration video illustrating CPRT with adoptive families, as well as three additional contemporary edited texts. Her research agenda focuses on examining the effectiveness of CPRT, play therapy, and school-based counselling services for young children and their families. Her career long passion and record of service is focused on advocating for children to receive the help and nurturing they need to reach their full capacity and lead productive and fulfilling lives.
Claudio Mochi is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (APT-USA) and expert in emergency and disaster mental health, including the use of clinical/community psychology and Play Therapy in post-disaster situations.
For more than a decade he has created and developed psychosocial programs addressing the needs of disaster survivors and trained local professionals in several countries such as Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro, Iran, Palestine, Pakistan, Lebanon, Sri Lanka and Haiti.
Mr. Mochi is Founder and President of the “Associazione per la Play Therapy Italia” and he is currently developing Play Therapy training in Europe and projects based on Play Therapy in several countries including Switzerland, Nigeria and Venezuela.
Both Dr Bratton and Mr Mochi will be presenting a 2 hour Masterclass on Sunday 13th August and a 3 hour address on alternate dates of the conference.
